After much setup, I successfully listened to the WIMBA webinar on the Kansas Tax Form December 18, 2009. I can really see how much information is available to me from an archived webinar. And yes I have attended a session at the Coffey County Library where it was a webinar. There were technology problems with it, but after a while it got worked out and the class began. It has taken me this long to do this lesson because of earphone problems (hardware stuff always bites me in the ....).
I look forward to more webinars.

Week Two: Setting Up a Facebook Account
It was really easy to setup a FACEBOOK account and right away it detected my son's facebook account. And I was able to find a friend I went to highschool with. That was really cool.
But I have to say this blogging stuff is not very intuitive. It took me a long while to find where I had to select to put in another posting.
I actually completed the facebook lesson a while ago and am just now figuring out my blog.
Also just read through Week Three and got stopped because I did not bring headphones and I only have access by driving to a library. So looks like it will be a few more days before I can complete this.

Week One: Blogging
This is week one of 23 things Kansas. What a great way to get those of us involved in small libraries up to date on technology.
With my limited time, I will only be reading comments once a week. It just really fries me to think about paying so much money every month to get online at my home.
